The Lackawanna and Wyoming Valley Chapter N of Dunmore, Pennsylvania is a chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). This chapter was established in July of 1912 and its first members were Mrs. J.N. Jamison, Mrs. Charles Coleman, Mrs. Mary A. Brown and Mrs. H.A. Brown. The purpose of this chapter is to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and to support better education for all.

Throughout the years, the chapter has supported the communities of Lackawanna and Wyoming Counties in many ways. The chapter has provided scholarships, conducted celebrations of historical dates, sponsored essay contests to promote knowledge of American History, and participated in various community service projects. The chapter is extremely proud of its members who have served in the armed forces and displayed their patriotism in the defense of our nation.

The chapter meets at the Dunmore Presbyterian Church on the third Thursday of every month, except for July and August. The members of the Lackawanna and Wyoming Valley Chapter N take great pride in preserving the DAR mission of patriotism, education, and historic preservation.
