The Frankford Historical Society was founded in 1933, making it one of the oldest historical societies in Philadelphia. Its mission is to preserve and promote the history of the Frankford area of Philadelphia, which includes the neighborhoods of Bridesburg, Wissinoming, and Juniata.
The Society collects and preserves artifacts, documents, and photographs related to the history of Frankford.
