The Hershey Gardens of the M.S. Hershey Foundation is a 23-acre botanical garden in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The gardens are located on the grounds of the historic Hershey Estate, home to the late chocolate magnate, Milton S. Hershey.
The gardens feature more than 4,000 roses and thousands of other plants, trees, and shrubs from around the world. The gardens are divided into different sections, including the Rose Garden, the Children's Garden, the Outdoor Sculpture Garden, the Japanese Garden, and the Formal Garden.
The Rose Garden is home to over 4,000 roses, in more than 500 varieties. The Children's Garden features interactive exhibits and activities designed to teach children about plants and wildlife. The Outdoor Sculpture Garden features over 30 sculptures and artwork, including pieces by artists such as Auguste Rodin and Henry Moore. The Japanese Garden is a peaceful oasis of ponds, waterfalls, and bridges. The Formal Garden features a range of ornamental plants, trees, and shrubs.
