The Codorus Valley Area Historical Society Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania in 1959. The society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the Codorus Valley region. The Codorus Valley area is located in south-central Pennsylvania and includes parts of York, Adams, and Cumberland counties.

The society operates a museum in downtown Spring Grove, which features a variety of artifacts and displays about the history of the area. It also maintains an archive of historical documents, photographs, and other materials. The society also hosts a variety of educational programs and special events throughout the year, such as lectures, tours, and workshops.

The society also works to protect and preserve historical sites in the area. In 2014, the society helped to preserve the historic Grumbine’s Mill near New Oxford, Pennsylvania. West Branch North Branch Patapsco River A stream that is a branch of the Patapsco River flows through Bennett Cerf Park in Westminster, MD. There is a small footbridge over the stream, and I climbed down to the rocks to take this wide angle photo. The sun was setting behind me after we finished a baseball game at the nearby field.
