Save the Speakers House is a historic property located in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. The house was built in 1760 and served as the home of Frederick Muhlenberg, a prominent figure in the American Revolution and the first Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. The house was later used as a school and a nursing home before falling into disrepair.

In recent years, a group of concerned citizens formed the Save the Speakers House organization to restore and preserve the historic property. The organization has raised funds through donations and grants to carry out extensive renovations, including repairing the roof, restoring the brickwork, and updating the electrical and plumbing systems.

Save the Speakers House is now open to the public for tours and educational programs. Visitors can learn about the history of the house and the important role it played in the founding of our nation. The organization also hosts events such as lectures, concerts, and holiday celebrations.

Through the efforts of Save the Speakers House, this important piece of American history has been saved from further decay and is now a thriving community resource.
