The Horsham Preservation and Historical Association (HPHA) is a non-profit organization located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1989, the mission of HPHA is to promote and preserve the history and culture of Horsham and its surrounding communities. HPHA works to maintain historical sites, artifacts, and documents in Horsham and to educate the public about the area’s rich history.

HPHA hosts several events throughout the year to promote Horsham’s history, including the annual Horsham Day. This event features speakers, vendors, and activities focusing on local history, as well as a parade through town. HPHA also sponsors lectures and workshops on local topics, including architecture and archaeology.

The HPHA also works to preserve and restore Horsham’s historic buildings. HPHA has helped to restore the historic William Penn Inn and is currently working to restore the historic Horsham Friends Meeting House. HPHA also works with local historical societies to preserve and protect artifacts and documents related to Horsham’s history.

In addition to its preservation efforts, HPHA also works to educate children and adults about the history of Horsham. HPHA sponsors several educational programs, including a “History Detectives” program that encourages children to explore their local history. HPHA also hosts historical tours of the area and provides resources for teachers, students, and anyone interested in learning more about Horsham’s past.
