HAY CREEK VALLEY HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION

The Hay Creek Valley Historical Association (HCVHA) is a non-profit organization located in Geigertown, Pennsylvania. The association was founded in 1978 with the purpose of preserving and promoting the history of the Hay Creek Valley region.

The HCVHA manages several historic sites in the area, including Joanna Furnace, which is a 19th-century iron-making complex that is open to the public for tours and events. The association also operates the Hay Creek School, a restored one-room schoolhouse that provides educational programming for children.

In addition to managing historic sites, the HCVHA hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including a Civil War reenactment, an apple festival, and a holiday open house.
