The Milton Historical Society is an organization dedicated to preserving the history of Milton, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. Established in 1976, the Society works to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of the region and to share this knowledge with the public. The Society's vision is to foster an appreciation of the area's rich history and to use it as a platform for meaningful dialogue and interaction.

The Society is located in the heart of downtown Milton, in a building that was originally constructed in 1819 as a hotel. The building houses its collections, programming, research library, and offices. The collections include artifacts, documents, photographs, and an extensive library. The Society also maintains an active program of lectures and events such as historic walking tours, seminars, and workshops. The Society also collaborates with other organizations to increase awareness of the area’s history.

The Society's primary goal is to educate the public about the rich history of Milton and the surrounding area. It seeks to make the past relevant to the present and to provide a valuable resource for those interested in learning more about the area's history. The Society is open to the public and welcomes anyone who is interested in learning more about the area's history.
