Perris / Perris Theater (# 0018) Opened in 1946, designed in an art-deco style but apparently modified at various times.  It’s now owned by the city for its historical value to downtown, but closed due to structural problems.

The Loma Linda Area Parks and Historical Society (LLAPHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and appreciation of the historical and cultural resources of the Loma Linda region of Southern California. Founded in 1975, the society has been active in the area for over forty years and continues to provide a variety of programs and services to the community.

The LLAPHS is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of several parks and historical sites in the Loma Linda area. These include Heritage Hill Historic Park, a seven-acre park featuring a variety of early-20th century structures, as well as the Loma Linda Historic District, which contains a number of preserved buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The society also oversees the maintenance of the Loma Linda Veterans Memorial, a memorial honoring the service of local veterans.

In addition to the parks and historical sites, the LLAPHS also hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year. These include lectures, special events, and educational programs for both adults and children. The society also maintains an archive of historical documents, photos, and other materials related to the Loma Linda area.

The LLAPHS plays an important role in the preservation and appreciation of the history and culture of the region. By providing access to parks, historical sites, and educational programs, the society strives to ensure that the Loma Linda community can continue to experience and appreciate its rich history and culture for generations to come.
