The Hummelstown Area Historical Society is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Hummelstown area. The society was founded in 1979 and is located in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. The Society maintains a museum at the historic Victorian house known as the “Hummel Homestead” in Hummelstown, which houses a variety of artifacts and documents related to the history of the area. The Society also offers a variety of educational programs, tours, and events throughout the year.

The museum features a variety of permanent exhibits, including a Native American exhibit, a Civil War exhibit, and a 19th century kitchen display. Additionally, the museum offers changing exhibits throughout the year. The Society holds an annual open house each spring, where visitors can enjoy free admission and learn about the history of the area.
