The Nyssa Historical Society Inc. is a non-profit organization that was established in 1983 by a group of local citizens who wanted to preserve and share the history of the area. The group works to collect, preserve, and display artifacts, documents, photographs and other items of historical significance in Nyssa and its surrounding areas.

The Society is located in the City of Nyssa, Oregon and serves as a repository for historical artifacts and documents. The Society’s main purpose is to promote the history of Nyssa and its surrounding areas. This includes maintaining records, providing educational and research services, and organizing public events. The Society also works to develop and promote cultural and educational activities related to local history.
