The Union County Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in La Grande, Oregon. The society was established in 1963, with the aim of preserving and promoting the history of Union County. The society operates the Union County Museum, which is located in the restored 1904 Train Depot. The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents that provide visitors with a glimpse into the history of the region.

The Union County Historical Society is also responsible for the maintenance of the historic Union County Courthouse and the Carnegie Library, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The society organizes various events and programs throughout the year, including walking tours, lectures, and workshops. The society also publishes a quarterly newsletter, "The Pioneer," which features articles on local history and updates on the society's activities.
