CHAFEY-GARCIA HOUSE

The Chafey-Garcia House is a historic home located in Etiwanda, California. Built in 1891, it is a two-story, Queen Anne-style home with a wrap-around porch, bay windows, and a gable roof. The building is constructed of wood and stucco, with some brick accents. The house was originally owned by Benjamin Chafey, a local rancher and businessman.

In the early 1900s, the house was sold to the Garcia family, who added a one-story kitchen and dining room onto the rear of the house. The house was later purchased by the Etiwanda Historical Society in the mid-1970s and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The house features a variety of Victorian-style ornamentation, including elaborate wooden trim, stained glass windows, and a central tower with a bell-shaped roof. The interior features a variety of period furniture, including a massive fireplace in the living room.

Today, the Chafey-Garcia House is open to the public for special events, tours, and educational programs. It serves as a reminder of the area's rich history and is an important part of Etiwanda's cultural heritage.

Diff reassembled This time with all necessary parts included

This repair garage is just off the main drag in downtown Chino and appears to be permanently shuttered.

Dirty diff Diff out of the car - this is just before the power washer came out (unfortunately, I forgot to take a pic of the cleaned diff, but you can see it in the final assembly pics.

Diff removed Also showing new H&amp;R springs. They are red, but progressive, so not the &quot;race&quot; springs (which are often identified by being red). Strangely enough, the springs that came off were also lowering springs, but with no name on them, so no way to tell what they were. The old ones were not progressive, however.
