The Oklahoma City Foundation for Architecture (OCFA) is a non-profit organization that promotes and preserves architectural heritage in Oklahoma City and throughout the state of Oklahoma. Founded in 1984, OCFA works to promote and preserve the built environment by providing educational programs and events, advocating for historic preservation, and recognizing excellence in architecture and design.

The OCFA hosts several events throughout the year including lectures, tours, and workshops. Their annual event, the Oklahoma City Architecture Symposium, is a day-long event which brings together architects, designers, historians, and community members to discuss and celebrate the built environment.

OCFA also provides educational programs for students, including the Architecture in the Schools program which provides hands-on learning experiences for students in grades K-12. The organization also offers building tours, which allow individuals to explore and learn about the history and architecture of Oklahoma City.

The OCFA also works to recognize excellence in architecture and design through the annual Oklahoma City Design Awards program. This program awards architects, designers, and other professionals who have made an impact on Oklahoma City’s built environment.

The OCFA is a vital resource for the preservation of Oklahoma City’s built environment and a key advocate for the appreciation and celebration of architectural heritage throughout the state.
