The San Diego Civil War Round Table (SDCWRT) is an educational organization dedicated to the study of the American Civil War. Founded in 1957, the organization is one of the oldest round tables in the nation. The SDCWRT is based in San Diego, California and serves the Greater San Diego area.

The organization provides numerous educational and social activities throughout the year. Each month, the SDCWRT hosts a meeting and program, typically featuring a speaker or panel discussion on a relevant Civil War-related topic. Other activities include an annual field trip to a Civil War site, a summer barbecue, and a holiday party.

The SDCWRT also conducts an annual essay contest for high school students, and offers an annual scholarship to a local student majoring in a Civil War-related field. The organization also sponsors an annual symposium featuring nationally-known speakers and authors.

The SDCWRT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is affiliated with other Civil War Round Tables, including the Southern California Civil War Round Table, the Civil War Round Table of Orange County, and the Civil War Round Table of Los Angeles. The organization is governed by an executive board comprised of members elected at the annual meeting.
