Woodward County Courthouse (Woodward, Oklahoma) Historic Woodward County Courthouse in Woodward, Oklahoma.  The Art Deco style courthouse was constructed in 1936 as a New Deal Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works funded project (also known as the Public Works Administration (PWA)).    The building was seriously damaged in an F5 tornado that killed 107 people in Woodward on April 9, 1947.

The Plains Indians and Pioneers Museum is located in Woodward, Oklahoma and is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the cultural heritage of the Plains Indians and pioneers who settled in the area.
