The FERA was replaced by the New Deal’s Works Progress Administration (WPA) as the project was being completed.

The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History is a premier research and educational facility located in Norman, Oklahoma. The museum was founded in 1899 and is named after Sam Noble, a prominent early settler of the area. The museum is housed in a modern building and is home to numerous collections of natural history artifacts.
