The Ohio Building, Madison Avenue and Superior Street, Toledo, OH Built in 1906, this Beaux Arts and Chicago School-style building was designed by George S. Mills for the Ohio Savings Bank and Trust Company.  The building stands 12 stories and 178 feet (52 meters) tall, and was one of the tallest buildings in Toledo at the time of its completion.  The building is clad in white terra cotta with replacement windows, large bays on the first and second floors, decorative reliefs, a copper cornice with brackets, dentils, and acroterions, and an arched main entrance bay with a decorative trim surround.  The building is a contributing structure in the Madison Avenue Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and expanded to its present size in 2021.

The Tri-County Historical Museum in Metamora, Ohio is a unique and fascinating museum located in the northwest corner of the state.
