Gardner Building, Madison Avenue and Superior Street, Toledo, OH Built in 1893, this Renaissance Revival-style building was designed by Charles Gardner for his family to serve as a commercial office building. The building remained under the ownership of the family until 1969, and was the first home of the Toledo Museum of Art upon its founding in 1901. The building features a yellow roman brick exterior with terra cotta trim, a rusticated terra cotta-clad first floor facade, terra cotta belt coursing at the second floor, arched window bays a the first floor, one-over-one double-hung windows, decorative trim surrounds at the windows on the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth floors, a cornice with modillions and dentils, quoins, arched entrance portals, a rear light court, and a rough-hewn stone base. The building is a contributing structure in the Madison Avenue Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and expanded to its present size in 2021.

The Ohio Building, Madison Avenue and Superior Street, Toledo, OH Built in 1906, this Beaux Arts and Chicago School-style building was designed by George S. Mills for the Ohio Savings Bank and Trust Company. The building stands 12 stories and 178 feet (52 meters) tall, and was one of the tallest buildings in Toledo at the time of its completion. The building is clad in white terra cotta with replacement windows, large bays on the first and second floors, decorative reliefs, a copper cornice with brackets, dentils, and acroterions, and an arched main entrance bay with a decorative trim surround. The building is a contributing structure in the Madison Avenue Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and expanded to its present size in 2021.

Superior Street, Toledo, OH Built in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century, these buildings demonstrate the variety of architectural styles that can be found throughout Downtown Toledo. The buildings are contributing structures in the Madison Avenue Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and expanded to its present size in 2021.

Former Northern National Bank Building, Superior Street and Madison Avenue, Toledo, OH Built in 1916-1919, this Classical Revival-style building was constructed for the Northern National Bank, which later merged with the Toledo Trust Company in the 1930s. The building eventually became home to a branch of KeyBank, which vacated the building in 2015. The building features a limestone-clad exterior with decorative cresting at the parapet, large arched window bays on the second floor of the Madison Avenue facade, plate glass windows at the first floor bays, a front portico with fluted ionic columns and a pediment, a cornice with dentils, and a granite base. The building is a contributing structure in the Madison Avenue Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and expanded to its present size in 2021.
