The Clear Creek Township Historical Society in Savannah, Ohio is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and researching the history of the area. The Society was founded in 1979, and since then has been actively collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of the area. They are dedicated to educating the community and sharing their knowledge of the township’s past.

The Society houses a large collection of artifacts, photographs, documents, and other items in their museum, located in downtown Savannah. The museum is open to the public and offers tours and educational programs for all ages. They also operate a research library, containing over 6,000 volumes, which is available for use by the public.

The Society also works to preserve the buildings in the area, and have been instrumental in the restoration of several of the buildings in the downtown Savannah area. They have also established a cemetery preservation program, which includes the preservation and restoration of several of the local cemeteries.

The Society is run entirely by volunteers and is funded by their members’ dues, donations, and grants. The Society is an important part of the community, and works to ensure that the history of the area is preserved and shared with future generations.
