The East Palestine Area Historical Society, Unity & Middleton Township, is located in East Palestine, Ohio. Founded in 1992, the society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the local history of the East Palestine and Unity Township area. The society collects, preserves, and displays artifacts and documents that tell the story of the history of East Palestine and surrounding towns.
The society is housed in the old East Palestine High School building, built in 1913, and offers a variety of programming and events throughout the year. The society is particularly noted for its annual Victorian Tea, held each year in November. The tea is an opportunity for people to learn more about the heritage of East Palestine while enjoying traditional food, music, and entertainment.
