The McCloud Building & Land Preservation Association (MB&LPA) is a non-profit organization located in McCloud, California that is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the natural, cultural and architectural resources of the McCloud area. The organization was founded in 1975 and is governed by a board of directors that consists of volunteers from the local community.

The mission of MB&LPA is to promote the preservation and conservation of McCloud’s natural and cultural resources, to support the development of sustainable economic opportunities, and to protect and promote the unique character of the McCloud area. The organization works to accomplish these goals through education and advocacy, as well as through direct projects and activities.

MB&LPA has completed a variety of projects over the years, ranging from the rehabilitation of historic buildings to the development of trails and greenways. The organization is also involved in the planning and implementation of a variety of outdoor events and activities, such as the annual McCloud Hike and Bike Festival.

The organization works in partnership with a variety of local, state and federal agencies in order to accomplish its goals. MB&LPA is a member of the California Preservation Foundation and is currently in the process of obtaining National Preservation Certification. The organization also works in partnership with the McCloud Chamber of Commerce in order to promote local businesses and to attract visitors to the area.
