The Village Historical Society Inc. of Harrison, Ohio, is a non-profit organization devoted to collecting and preserving the history and culture of the area. Founded in 1971, the Society currently holds an extensive collection of photographs, documents, artifacts, and other memorabilia related to the history and culture of the area.

The Society’s mission is to maintain a permanent record of the people, places, and events of Harrison, Ohio, and the surrounding area. In addition to preserving historical materials, the Society also provides educational programs and tours to the public, including school groups and other organizations, and is active in a number of local events and activities.

The Society’s collections, which are housed in a two-story building in downtown Harrison, are open to the public by appointment. The collections focus on the area’s history from the 19th century to the present, and include items such as photographs, documents, artifacts, and other memorabilia. The Society also has a library, which contains books and other materials related to Harrison and the surrounding area.

The Society is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, and memberships are available for those interested in supporting the Society’s mission. The Society also accepts donations, which are used to maintain and expand the collections.
