I was enchanted by its delicate color and the form of its buds. Ohio flora and fauna Butterweed (Yellowtop, Cress-leaf Groundsel) - Packera glabella (syn. Senecio glabellus) This stuff was growing all over Ohio in moist fields. I had seen it previously in a floodplain forest in South Carolina--it has an odd distribution.
