Historic Fort Steuben is a reconstructed 18th century fort located in Steubenville, Ohio. It was originally built by the British in 1786 as a military outpost to protect against Native American raids and to enforce British control over the Ohio River Valley. The fort served as a vital supply and communication link between Fort Pitt (modern day Pittsburgh) and Fort McIntosh (modern day Beaver, Pennsylvania).

The reconstructed fort was completed in 1986 and features a blockhouse, officer's quarters, enlisted men's barracks, and a stockade. Visitors can explore the fort and learn about life on the frontier during the late 1700s through hands-on exhibits, displays, and demonstrations. The fort also hosts special events throughout the year such as reenactments, living history demonstrations, and educational programs.

In addition to the fort, the Historic Fort Steuben Park also includes the Ohio Valley Frontier Museum which houses exhibits on the history and culture of the region from prehistoric times to present day. The park also features a memorial to the soldiers who served in the Vietnam War and a replica of the Veterans Memorial Bridge that spans the Ohio River. Historic Fort Steuben is a popular destination for history enthusiasts, school groups, and families interested in learning about Ohio's early frontier history.
