Point Pleasant Post Office, Main Street, Point Pleasant, WV Built in 1911-1912, this Classical Revival-style building was designed by James Knox Taylor to serve as a post office for the city of Point Pleasant, West Virginia.  The building features a limestone exterior with a granite base, doric pilasters on the exterior facade, six-over-six double-hung windows on the first floor and casement windows on the second floor, a recessed front portico with four ionic columns and chandelier-style light fixtures, a cornice with dentils, and a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet.  The building is a contributing structure in the Point Pleasant Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, and continues to function as a post office.

The Meigs County Museum in Pomeroy, Ohio, is a museum dedicated to preserving the history of Meigs County and its residents.
