Rockingham Downtown Corporation (RDC) is a non-profit organization in Rockingham, North Carolina, dedicated to the revitalization, promotion and growth of the historic downtown area. Founded in 2007, RDC strives to create a vibrant and active downtown district, providing a unique experience for both visitors and locals alike.

RDC works to bring in new businesses, promote existing businesses, support local events and improve the downtown area through beautification and infrastructure projects. Through a variety of programs, RDC encourages the development of a strong community, where businesses, organizations and individuals are connected and working together to make Rockingham a great place to live, work and play.

Empty on East Washington Bank of Pee Dee Building (also known as Economy Auto Supply) is a historic bank building located at 201 East Washington Street in Rockingham, Richmond County, North Carolina. It was built in 1904–1905, and is a two-story, red brick early commercial style building. It has a pedimented front gable roof.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Bank of Pee Dee Building, located at the northeast corner of Hancock and E. Washington
streets in the heart of the commercial center ~f Rockingham, is an e~ceptionally fine
example of early twentieth century commerc~al architecture, constructed between 1904 and
1905.
The pedimented front of this two story bank structure, which recalls gable fronts of
earlier frame commercial architecture, is unique in the Rockingham commercial district.
The first story elevation of this red brick masonry building features rusticated pierwork
supporting a Doric entablature. Two shallow niches with stone sills flank plate glass
display_wi~dows and a centrat entry. Tuscan co~u~ns, which fram~d an original recessed
bay with splayed.sid~ walls featuring single one over-one:s~sh windows and ~ ce~tral
double door entrance, no longer remain. Richly detailed, the second story is described
by brick quoins and a quartet of windows strung together by a granite belt course. A
tripartite window surmounted by a semi-circular light sits on the pedtmented attic
gable. The side elevations feat~re irregularly arranged groups of segmentally arched
window and door openings. The impressive exterior cast and wrought iron staircase of
the west elevation is not original to the structure. According to a documentary photograph,
a recessed entry, similar to that of the front facade, at one time enriched the west
elevation. A post-1938 one story brick commercial structure adjoins the rear facade.
The interior first floor of the Bank of Pee Dee Building, which is now utilized as an
auto supply store, has a large front room petitioned off from a rear storage area. None
of the original bank teller cages or fixtures survive. During an interior remodeling
of the 1960s, a fake ceiling was installed below the original pressed tin ceiling. In
the last fifty years, doctor &quot; lawyer, and bank offices occupied the small rooms of the
second floor. Most of the office partitions have been removed and the area is today
used for storage. Plank flooring, beaded tongue-in-groove ceilings and globed light
fixtures remain intact.

The Lost One A few weeks ago Jesus' parables of the lost sheep, coin, and the prodigal son were the gospel readings from the Lectionary used by Catholics and main line Protestants.
