Grease and gas If you ask nicely, the lady running the gas station will let you use the bathroom between the hours of 10 and 4. She keeps it locked on account of meth heads. It's on U.S. Route 74 in Shelby, North Carolina in Cleveland County.
Horse and Buggy This horse and buggy was parked at Family Dollar west of Shelby, North Carolina in Cleveland County. I was quite surprised to see it. My guess is that it is owned my a Mennonite family, but that's just a guess. I am familiar with the Amish of Pennsylvania and these people were dressed differently. It is on U.S. Route 74 just west of Shelby.
