Red Bluff, California is home to a small but vibrant community of Pearl Harbor survivors. Most of these survivors are now in their 90s and have lived in the area for many years. They meet regularly to share their stories and experiences, and to honor the memory of those who lost their lives in the attack.

Many of the survivors were in their late teens or early 20s when they were stationed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. They vividly remember the chaos and destruction of that day, and the bravery of their fellow servicemen. Some were injured in the attack, and all were deeply affected by the loss of so many lives.

Despite the trauma they experienced, the survivors of Pearl Harbor have gone on to lead full and active lives. They have raised families, pursued careers, and contributed to their communities in a variety of ways. They are proud of their service to their country and of the sacrifices they made during World War II.

The Pearl Harbor survivors in Red Bluff are a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. They continue to inspire us with their courage, strength, and unwavering commitment to their country and to each other.
