The North Carolina Pottery Center is located in the small town of Seagrove, North Carolina. Founded in 1998, it is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the state’s pottery heritage. The Center houses an impressive collection of pottery made by master potters and pottery makers from all over North Carolina.

The Center is open to the public, and visitors can take part in educational programs, lectures, and workshops. There is also a retail store that sells both old and new pottery pieces from local potters and pottery makers. The Center also has a Museum, which houses more than 1,000 pieces of pottery from the 1800s to the present.

The North Carolina Pottery Center also serves as a resource for researching North Carolina’s pottery heritage. Visitors can learn about the history of pottery in North Carolina, the techniques and materials used in pottery making, and the different styles of pottery that were popular in the state.
