The National Carousel Association (NCA) is a non-profit organization based in Spokane, Washington, dedicated to the preservation and restoration of carousels across the United States. Established in 1973 by a group of dedicated carousel enthusiasts, the NCA provides educational programs, advocacy, and support to carousel owners, operators, and collectors.

The NCA’s mission is to preserve, restore and promote the legacy of the carousel as a cultural and artistic tradition. They provide a variety of services to help members and others in the carousel community to accomplish their goals. These services include an annual convention, seminars, educational materials, and marketing and promotional efforts. The NCA also works to help preserve and restore existing carousels, as well as to create new ones.

The NCA’s headquarters are located in Spokane, Washington and they have members all over the United States. They also have international members in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

NCA members are passionate about the carousel and they work to keep the legacy of the carousel alive. Through their efforts, they help to preserve and promote the carousel as an important part of our nation’s cultural history.
