September 17, 2021: "The Eagle", Roscoe Conkling Park, Utica, New York Standing on a high ridge with a commanding view over the downtown skyline, <i>The Eagle</i> - a six-foot bronze statue sculpted in 1923 by noted artist Charles Keck - is one of the most well-known landmarks at Roscoe Conkling Park in Utica, New York.

The Waterville Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the town of Waterville in upstate New York. Founded in 1967, the society operates a museum and research center located in the historic 1832 Schoolhouse building on Madison Street.

The museum features exhibits and displays that showcase the town's history, including artifacts, photographs, and documents related to local businesses, schools, churches, and community organizations.
