The Red Rock Canyon Historical Society Inc. (RRC HISTORICAL SOCIETY INC) is a nonprofit organization located in Ione, California. The Society was founded in 1999 and is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and promoting the history and heritage of Red Rock Canyon and the surrounding area. The Society's activities include educational programs, research projects, document and artifact preservation, and public information and outreach.

The Society sponsors a variety of events throughout the year, from special presentations and lectures to guided hikes and special exhibit openings. It also provides an array of resources for students and researchers, such as a library, archives, and a museum. The Society also produces a quarterly newsletter and a yearly calendar.
