The Town of Clinton Historical Society in Clinton Corners, NY, is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the town and its people. Founded in 1987, the Society works to collect, preserve, and share the stories of the town’s past. The Society’s collections include photographs, documents, artifacts, and oral histories that tell the stories of the town’s residents and its history.

The Society also works to educate the public about the town’s past through programs, lectures, and exhibits. The Society annually hosts several events such as the Applefest in October and the Ice Cream Social in August. The Society also maintains the Dutchess County Historical Marker Program, which works to recognize and preserve the county’s historic sites.

The Society’s headquarters is located in the historic Clinton Town Hall. This building was constructed in 1808 and has served as the town’s seat of government as well as a meeting place for the community. The Society is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month from 2-4 pm. Visitors can explore the Society’s artifacts, view photographs, and learn more about the history of Clinton Corners and the surrounding area.
