Historic Pittsford is a village located in Pittsford, New York, with a population of about 3,400. The village is situated in the town of Pittsford, which is located in Monroe County.

Pittsford was settled in the late 18th century and was originally named Northfield. The village was later renamed Pittsford in 1814 in honor of William Pitt, the Earl of Chatham.

The village was incorporated in 1827 and is home to many historic sites and buildings. These include the Pittsford Village Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as the Pittsford Cemetery, which dates back to the early 19th century.
