The Hanceville Historical Preservation Group (HHPG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history of the city of Hanceville, Alabama. Founded in 1999, the HHPG works to protect and promote the rich cultural heritage of the area, preserving its unique historical sites and landmarks.

The HHPG is responsible for the preservation of several historic buildings and sites in Hanceville, such as the First United Methodist Church, the Hanceville City Hall, and the Hanceville Train Depot. They also organize educational events such as lectures, guided tours, and re-enactments of historic events.

The HHPG also works to promote and celebrate the city’s history. Every year, the group organizes the Hanceville Historical Festival, which features live music, food, and fun activities for the whole family.
