September 17, 2021: "The Eagle", Roscoe Conkling Park, Utica, New York Standing on a high ridge with a commanding view over the downtown skyline, <i>The Eagle</i> - a six-foot bronze statue sculpted in 1923 by noted artist Charles Keck - is one of the most well-known landmarks at Roscoe Conkling Park in Utica, New York.

The Kuyahoora Valley Historical Society is a non-profit organization based in Newport, New York, dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the Kuyahoora Valley. The society was established in 1968 by a group of local residents who recognized the importance of preserving the area's rich history and cultural heritage.
