The Interlaken Historical Society, located in Interlaken, New York, was founded in 1974. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and culture of the Interlaken area.

The Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Interlaken and the surrounding region, which includes the towns of Ovid, Lodi, Covert, and Romulus. It operates the Interlaken Historical Museum, located in the historic Curtis-Baird House in Interlaken. The museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts and displays related to the history of Interlaken, including tools, documents, photographs, furniture, and clothing.

In addition to the museum, the Society also sponsors a variety of educational and cultural events throughout the year, including lectures and workshops, guided tours of local historical sites, and special exhibits.

The Society also works to maintain and preserve the historic buildings and landscapes of the Interlaken area. It has been involved in several restoration projects, including the restoration of the 1838 Interlaken Congregational Church, the restoration of the 18th century Yates-Tichnor House, and the stabilization of the 1820s Ross-Gillett House.
