The Pleasant Valley Historical Society (PVHS) is a non-profit organization located in Pleasant Valley, New York. Founded in 1972, the Society is dedicated to preserving the rich historic heritage of the Pleasant Valley area.
The PVHS operates out of the historic Grange Hall in Pleasant Valley, which serves as a museum and gathering place. The Grange Hall was built in 1883 and has been a part of the community ever since. Inside the hall, visitors can find exhibits of local artifacts, photographs, and documents that tell the story of Pleasant Valley’s past.
In addition to the museum, the PVHS hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year. These include lectures, workshops, and field trips that focus on the history and culture of the area. The Society also offers genealogical research services, as well as educational programs for students of all ages.
