The Somers Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Somers, New York, dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the town. Founded in 1966, the society has a collection of artifacts, documents, and photographs that tell the story of Somers from its earliest days to the present.

The society maintains two historic properties - the Elephant Hotel, which was built in 1820 and served as a stagecoach stop, and the Wright Reis Homestead, a 1730s farmhouse that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Both properties are open to the public for tours and events throughout the year.
