Exploring the Arts Inc. is a non-profit organization based in New York, NY, that works to ensure that young people have access to quality arts education. Founded in 2000 by Tony Award-winning actor, producer, and philanthropist, Robin Bronk, Exploring the Arts is dedicated to helping all students experience the transformative power of the arts.
Exploring the Arts works in partnership with public schools in New York City and Los Angeles to create arts-infused learning environments. Through their on-site Arts Mentoring program, the organization provides professional artists and arts educators who work side-by-side with teachers to deepen their knowledge of the arts and integrate arts instruction into their curriculum.
Exploring the Arts also provides financial support for students and teachers to attend arts-related events and offers professional development opportunities for teachers and arts administrators. The organization also hosts an annual Artists’ Forum and works to connect students to career opportunities in the arts.
In addition, Exploring the Arts partners with numerous organizations to ensure that young people have access to the arts. These include the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York City Department of Education, and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. The organization also works closely with local businesses, foundations, and individuals to provide additional resources and support.
