The Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives (ALBA) is an educational non-profit organization based in New York City. ALBA was founded in 1985 to provide a repository for material related to the American volunteers who fought in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). ALBA works to preserve and share the legacy of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, which was composed of nearly 3,000 members from the United States who fought against fascism in the Spanish Civil War.

The archives are located in New York City and are open to the public. The archives contain a wealth of information about the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, including photographs, documents, books, oral histories, and other artifacts. ALBA also offers educational programs and exhibits, hosts lectures, and works with educational institutions, cultural institutions, and other organizations to promote public understanding of the Brigade’s history and legacy.
