The Richmond Hill Historical Society Inc. in Richmond Hill, NY is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of the area. It was established in 1991 for the purpose of preserving, protecting and promoting the history of the community. The Society sponsors educational programs, lectures, and guided tours of the area.

The Society owns and operates two landmarked sites: the Lefferts-Laidlaw House, a Victorian-style home built in 1885, and the Free African American Burial Ground, a site established in the early 19th century. The Society also owns and maintains the Richmond Hill Community Garden and the Richmond Hill History Museum.

It also works with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to maintain the Richmond Hill Community Garden.
