The Historical Society of Islip Hamlet (HSIH) is a non-profit organization based in Islip, New York. Founded in 1967, HSIH is dedicated to the preservation of the history of the Islip Hamlet, a small hamlet located in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County. HSIH is committed to preserving the past for future generations.
HSIH is comprised of members from the Islip Hamlet and the surrounding communities. The society is governed by a board of directors and operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
