The Malverne Historical & Preservation Society (MHPS) of Malverne, New York is a non-profit organization that aims to preserve the history and culture of the diverse community of Malverne. Founded in 1976, the society has been actively engaged in the preservation of important sites and artifacts in the area, and has been successful in its efforts to preserve and collect documents, photographs, and artifacts related to the town’s history.

The society works to promote the preservation of local history by encouraging the public to become involved in the community’s history. It also provides educational programs for children and adults, and offers lectures and presentations on local history topics. The MHPS participates in the Annual Malverne Day Festival, and sponsors various other events throughout the year.
