The Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum, located in Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY, is a National Historic Landmark that is one of the oldest surviving Dutch colonial-style farmhouses in the nation. Built in 1652 by Pieter Claesen Wyckoff, the Wyckoff family lived in the house for seven generations, until 1901. The two-story, two-room house was built with Dutch-style architecture, including a steep gable roof, high ceilings, and an enclosed porch.

The house is filled with artifacts reflecting its Dutch colonial past. It features a kitchen fireplace where Dutch food was prepared, a bake oven that was used to make bread and pies, and a cider press that was used to make apple cider. Additional artifacts include a spinning wheel, antique furniture, and clothing.

Today, the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum is open to the public. Visitors can explore the historic house and its historic artifacts, as well as learn about the Wyckoff family’s 300-year-old history. Guided tours of the house are available, and the museum also hosts educational programs and events throughout the year.
