Goodsell House is a historic mansion located in Old Forge, NY. The house was built in 1877 by local businessman William Goodsell. The windows are framed by molded brickwork, and the entrance has a pediment portico and a fanlight transom. Inside, the house has a grand central hall, with a winding staircase and ornate plasterwork. The parlor is decorated with marble mantles and cast-iron fireplaces. The dining room has a hand-painted ceiling, and the kitchen is equipped with a wood-burning cook stove. The house is surrounded by a large garden, with several outbuildings, including a carriage house, a woodshed, and a barn. The house is a reminder of Old Forge's industrial past, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
