Greene County Historical Society (GCHS) is located in Coxsackie, New York and works to preserve the history and culture of Greene County. Since its founding in 1961, GCHS has been dedicated to preserving and sharing the county’s history and culture through its research library, museum collections, and educational programs.

The research library has over 10,000 volumes of books, photographs, maps, newspapers, and other documents, and the museum collection includes artifacts of all types, including textiles, ceramics, furniture, tools, and more.
