Mills Mansion, also known as Staatsburgh State Historic Site, is a grand mansion located in Mount Morris, New York. It was built in 1895 for Ogden Mills and his wife, Ruth Livingston Mills, who were wealthy socialites and prominent members of the New York City elite.

The mansion is a three-story Beaux-Arts style building with 79 rooms and covers over 65,000 square feet. The interior is decorated with luxurious furnishings, including ornate chandeliers, marble fireplaces, and intricate woodwork. The mansion also features a grand ballroom, a library, and a billiard room.

The estate includes 200 acres of landscaped gardens, a carriage house, and a greenhouse. The gardens feature a formal Italian garden, a rose garden, and a rock garden. The carriage house has been converted into a visitor center and gift shop.

Today, Mills Mansion is open to the public as a historic site and museum. Visitors can take guided tours of the mansion and gardens, learn about the history of the Mills family and their role in the Gilded Age, and participate in educational programs and events. Mills Mansion is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in the history and architecture of the Gilded Age.

Dansville & Mt. Morris Railroad Depot, 1941 Originally opening in the 1870s, the D&MM Depot was a wooden rectangular building that was later expanded in the 1920s. While the engines and tracks no longer remain in the village of North Dansville, the depot has undergone a number of restorative changes and stands today as Battle Street Brewery. South Lima Erie Railroad When the Erie railroad first came to South Lima in 1852, many locals made their living by farming. The rich soil in the area was so ideal for celery, onions, and mushrooms, that one 1899 article described it as a "boom town." To accommodate the massive amount of produce that was being shipped out on the Erie railroad, the Bahrenburgh Brothers Co. had a wooden storage building built by the Fay & Dryer architecture firm in 1902. Two years later, a spark from a passing train started a fire that destroyed many homes and businesses including the storage building. It's replacement was built the same year and still stands today along Muck Rd. WNY and Pennsylvania Station, Mt. Morris At the turn of the century Mt. Morris was a bustling town of industry. Passenger and freight trains would travel through the villages two trains stations before converging on S. Main St. The Genesee Valley Greenway along Genesee St. follows the tracks where the station stood until the railroad discontinued service in 1963. Dalton Station, 1907 When the Dalton railroad station was first built circa 1852, the community that grew around it was appropriately named "Nunda Station. The town changed it's name to Dalton in 1880, but the station would remain in operation for another 79 years before being torn down in 1966. Springwater Erie Station, 1909 While most railroad stations are built at strategic points in the heart of villages or along popular travel routes, the hilly countryside of Springwater provided some challenges. The village itself is nestled at the base of the Hemlock Lake inlet. To avoid heavy trains struggling with the steep slopes, this station was built three miles west of the village around 1854.
