Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn NY is a 12-acre zoo located in the heart of Prospect Park. Owned and operated by the Wildlife Conservation Society, the Prospect Park Zoo opened in 1935 and is home to a variety of species from around the world.

The zoo is divided into two main sections: the Animals of the World section and the Children's Zoo. The Animals of the World section houses a variety of animals, including sea lions, penguins, polar bears, red pandas, snow leopards, and more. In the Children's Zoo, visitors can get up close and personal with a variety of friendly animals like goats, sheep, donkeys, and llamas.

The Prospect Park Zoo also features a variety of educational programs, such as their Zoo Camp, which teaches children about animals and their conservation.
